Unable to view files in PHP Explorer [message #97664] Thu, 28 May 2009 06:10 Go to next message

Hello all,

I have recently bought a new computer which unfortunetly comes with
Vista : ( Being a 64bit OS is a huge disadvantage.

Anyways, I installed Eclipse PHP 3.4.2, and Subclipse plugin. I was able
to create a new repository and was able to check out a project from SVN.
However, in the PHP Explorer view, it shows the project with an arrow
next to it, but when I click on the arrow it doesn't show the
directories or files of that project.

OS: Windows Vista 64bit
Eclipse 3.4.2 build M20090211-1700
java.version=1.6.0_13
Sbuclipse 1.4.x

Do I need another plugin? or is there something I am missing here?

Have you checked the filter or working set?

Oh and just for the record, I am running vista x64 and once I got to
know it and how to handle it, it is running more stable and smooth than
xp ever did.. just get the right hardware which gives you good x64
drivers and you will have a very stable platform :)

Build Automatically is set, no filters in place

can view files in the Resource Perspective

And what about working sets? That fact you can see the files in another
perspective suggests it is a filter or working set.. else turn on the
eclipse log thing and see if there are some error occurring

I've been seeing this happen with CVS as well - only the main directory
folder shows in the PHP explorer with no subdirectories or files, while
the resource perspective and navigator views show things as they should
be. Has anyone else seen this?
