Line numbers in *.js [message #97340] Fri, 15 May 2009 05:38 Go to next message

How do I set the Javascript editor so that line numbers stay always on?
Every time I open a .js file I have to right click on the left side and
click on "Show line numbers" (and there is a Bug: I must do that 2 times).
That works, but at the next start it's gone away.

I've searched in the Preferences, general and javascript, but I don't find
the option.
For Text files, html, and PHP is already OK, only js files don't have line
numbers or retain the setting when restarting Eclipse/PDT.

Some ideas?
Thanks

When I tried pdt2 I had no problem setting up js files that way. Have
you tried with a new temp workspace and a clean pdt-all-in-one, just to
test that it isn't your current installment?
