tutorials or examples for using XML data source [message #97118] |

I played with the BIRT 2.0 M3 milestone build, and noticed that XML data
source showed up as a possible selection for creating a new data source.
Are there any tutorials or examples available for this?
With my toy XML file, I was able to set up a new data source, but was unable
to set up a data set (the row and column mappings) properly to produce
correct preview results in the Edit Data Set dialog.
Thanks,

Hi Marty,
At this moment it is not possible to stream xml into it. I've looked at
it and it does not accept URLs as file argument. I've made a sample
reports on plants.xml. I can send that one to you if you like. Contact
me outside the newsgroup for it.
Greetings, Jan.
