Calling Stored Procedures from EDT [message #806951]

I have read through forums that the version 0.7 does not support call of RPG programs using EDT and we will need to use stored procedures to invoke the RPG program internally. Could some one help me with a sample code to invoke the stored procedure using EDT. I have been running through lot of forums but yet to find a sample to try out.

Hi Karthik,

Actually 0.8 M2 has the ability to call RPG programs using the JTOpen toolkit. We had an open Stakeholder meeting on 2/23 to review this feature http://www.eclipse.org/forums/index.php/mv/msg/292182/805388/#msg_805388. I know Theresa recorded it and the recording should be posted soon.
There detailed information in the specification attached to bugzilla 366706.

We could not include the jt400 in 0.8 M2 so there is some additional setup. You will find the setup information in http://www.eclipse.org/forums/index.php/mv/msg/296813/804926/#msg_804926.

Understand that 0.8 is still under development, but since you're accessing an RPG program you will want to give this a try to give us feedback before we officially release 0.8.
