determining target vm vendor + version before launching an application [message #96811] Mon, 23 April 2007 18:40 Go to next message

Hi,
I'm adding a custom data collector to the java profiler, and I am wondering
if there is a predefined way to find out the target vm version + vendor
before getVMArguments() is called?
Any help is appreciated.
Thanks.
