Sorry Jonathan, but probably nobody will read 5000+ lines long log... I just see on the first few lines OutOfMemoryException. You have to minimize and isolate issue.

What version of Eclipse are you running, what are conditions and scenario to reproduce error, etc. etc.

Well the steps are easy.

1) Open Eclipse

I'm running
Version: 3.7.0
Build id: I20110613-1736

I had to make a new workspace to get eclipse to open. I also have PLENTY OF MEMORY

Okay, in this case I suggest that your workspace and/or Eclipse biniaries are corrupted. Delete ~/.eclipse/, your Eclipse installation and workspoace directory.

Well what I had to do was rename the workspace folder (I had it set to auto-use my old/broken workspace) then it made a new workspace. I just imported the old projects and eclipse works fine now Cool

simple solution is

better uninstall jdk 7 u 9 completely

and install jdk 7 u 7.

and it worked fine with eclipse juno.
