Hello,

I'm testing VE I20050630 and I observe when I create a JFrame or a
JDialog, the constructors never call the initialize method, so I must
invoke initialize() by hand constructor by constructor.

Is this a bug or a new code generation behaviour?

Thanks,

Francesc Rosés

Thanks for bringing this to our attention. I did some fooling around and
noticed this occurring when "generate all constructors" was checked. If
that is what you did, please open a defect against VE, subcomponent Java
Core. We had not noticed that before, we usually don't use that option.
For now you can generate without that checked and it should be ok.

Hi Rich,

Yes, the bug only appears when "generate all constructors" was checked.

I opened a VE defect.

Thanks,
