Can't find the update to 3.3.1 on the repository and question about milestone 3.3.2 [message #803146] |

Hey guys,
I'm running Eclipse 3.7.1 with PDT 3.0.0 . I'm trying to update WTP to 3.3.1, but eclipse says that there are no updates for the plugins I have installed. The Indigo repository is there on the "Available Software Sites" list. Any idea why it is not finding 3.3.1 to update?
Also, there is this annoying bug ( https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=365526 ) which has slowed my workflow considerable. I see that it was fixed with a target milestone of 3.3.2 . I have two questions about it. 1. Is there somewhere I can find the target release date for this milestone? 2. Is there a way to apply that fix before that?

Also, whether and when something shows up as "updates" depends a lot on
what you start with (and what you might have installed since, as "main"
features).
For example, if you started with one specific "product", then you'll
only see "updates" for sub-components of that product when that specific
"product" itself updates its version.
So, if you wanted to check exactly, you could navigate and drill down to
the relevant repositories (.../releases/indigo, for example, and expand
the "web tools" category) and see if there is anything more recent there
that you want to install. If you do, from that point on, it would be one
of your "main" features, and see "updates" automatically. But, my point
is, the automatic "updates" is sometimes counterintuitive as it only
finds updates for the main products or features, not just any
sub-component.

And that was what happened here I think. The Automatic updates didn't find this update, but when I opened I could find it and manually update. But it is really counterintuitive.
