Building CDT: ILaunchFilter? [message #95546] Wed, 25 February 2004 17:18 Go to next message

Hi,

I tried to build CDT as described in the FAQ (i e download HEAD
from CVS) using Eclipse 3.0 M6 (which I managed to build) but I
get a compilation error: The class
org.eclipse.cdt.launch.internal.CApplicationLaunchShortcut does
not compile because "The import org.eclipse.debug.u.ILaunchFilter
cannot be resolved". I did not find any such class in the Eclipse
source. How do I solve this? (Upgrade to Eclipse 3.0 M7? Check out
a particular version of CDT? Something else?)

Thanks in advance

The code on HEAD has been modified in a way this is no longer compatible
with Eclipse M6. You will need to upgrade to Eclipse M7.

In general the latest version of CDT should be used with the latest version
of eclipse -- sometimes it may work to mix, but it is not recommended.
