Hi

I'm fooling around with the org.eclipse.core.runtime.applications
extension-point. I've created an HelloWorld-App and added an extension.
I start this application from the OSGi-console. Now if I put the thread
property of the application element to any: <application thread="any">
everything is fine and I see my System.outs. If I change the thread to
"many" (which is also the default) I don't see anything.

Could someone explain these two threads options to me. And why I don't
see my system.outs while working with "main"?

Thanks
Matt

Yes, this is one of several bugs in the application launching framework. I've listed some of them here:

http://www.eclipsezone.com/eclipse/forums/t99762.rhtml

This bug has been fixed for 3.3.1 for when it comes out, though.

Alex.
