Some time in the last few months the nightly 1.5 build has stopping painting the background for the Section title bars with Section.TITLE_BAR style.

If there is no client on the section, no background is painted. It was painting correctly in 1.4 and early 1.5 builds

If the TWISTIE style is applied and EXPANDED is not, even if there is a client the background will not be painted. It will appear when you click the section to expand it.

Issue exists in both IE8 and Firefox 10.
Issue exists with Business theme and default theme.

I'm hoping its something quick and simple like the switch to the json protocol has missed setting something

Hi Chris,

there is already a bugzilla entry about this issue:
https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=366997

As workaround you can try to set the background of the section to null.
