Tabs of Stacked Views have shortened text in RCx [message #94347]

Hi

Up to 1.1M3, stacking views (by use of perspectiveextension) worked well.
That is, you would see the tabs with the view titles on them, and if
neccessary, some chevrons with drop-down list of unseen views.

On using any of the RC builds, the text is incredibly shortened (in our
case to 1 letter) and all tabs are visible (no chevron). The result is no
one can see what each tab is supposed to be like.

Before RC builds:

View A | View B | View C >>

After RC builds:

V... | V... | V... | V... | V...

Is this a bug, expected or unexpected behaviour? Is it because of
migrating to Eclipse 3.4? I tried looking in
org.eclipse.ui.internal.presentations for some clues about where the text
was being shortened, but with no success.
