Hi all,
Frank and I made some major changes on the upload widget in the RAP
sandbox, which (hopefully) improve the widget and its flexibility on how
to use it.
Here's a short overview of these changes:
- Additional way to trigger upload via method call (instead of internal
upload button)
- New style flags to manipulate layout/behaviour
- Events use SWT mechanism now
- Uses ServiceHandler instead of Servlet internally
- Better size computation
- ModifyEvent after user selects a file to upload
- Progress bar and/or progress events
Unfortunately, this goes a long with a few API changes, however, must
*old* methods/constructors are marked as deprecated and will be removed
in the next versions.
There's also a new demo project in the sandbox where the different ways
are shown how the widget can be used.
If there's any reason to complain, feel free to do so :-)
