Hello,
How do I get the org.eclipse.releng.eclipse.builder code from CVS? I
login in using /cvrroot/eclipse. Next for the remote-> checkout
settings, I see jdt, jdt-core, ..., pde, platform. However there is none
that points to releng.
Also how does eclipse get build. Is it command line using ant or using
the Eclipse itself?
I've signed up for platform-releng-dev, but there's no email to allow
me to get into the newsgroup:

Hi Derek,
your questions don't belong to this newsgroup, maybe eclipse.platform.pde or
eclipse.newcomer would be a better place to ask. But anyway, see my answers
below.

/cvsroot/eclipse contains a module org.eclipse.releng. This is probably what
you are looking for.

Eclipse uses PDE build which generates Ant scripts. Maybe these links are
helpful:
http://www.eclipse.org/articles/Article-PDE-Automation/autom ation.html
http://www.eclipse.org/eclipse/platform-releng/index.php

Sometimes it takes some time. You didn't get a mail response asking for
confirmation?
