Hi everyone,

I'm just trying to create a web application with Eclipse 3.0.2 and VE
1.0.2.1. In my project I use external Java Beans, which contain graphical
AWT-components.
My problem is, that these external Java Beans aren't displayed in the
Visual Editor design palette, so that I have to search each class manually
with the "Choose Bean" dialog.
In order to have an easy access to the external AWT-components, I would
like to add them to the Visual Editor design - palette.
For any hint, which helps to solve my problem, i would be grateful.

Yours sincerely,
Holger

Hi Holger,

Take a look at the tutorial on the VE website - Extending the Visual
Editor: Enabling support for a custom widget -
http://dev.eclipse.org/viewcvs/indextools.cgi/%7Echeckout%7E /org.eclipse.ve.examples/org.eclipse.ve.example.customwidget /WebContent/index.html

Hope this helps,
- Jeff
