I would like to use WTP for my existing web application development but I
work with an envronment with a standardized file structure. basically my
question is how do I change the WebContent folder to another folder like
web?

I'd suggest waiting for the next milestone. The flexible project can be
setup manually, but I found that too many things are not ready for prime
time. If I understand it correctly, M3 release was the API release. It
is not really the release for end-users.

I think M4 is suppose to have the UI pieces and the various builders
working. I think most of the bugs are fixed in the I builds, but I'm
waiting for the next M4 release.

If you really want to do this, create a new project using the wizard.
Make sure that you turn on flexible projects. You'll see several . files
that it creates. It pretty easy to figure out what to copy to your
project. You'll also have to update your .classpath and .project files
to add the various WTP natures and builders.

Make sure you back things up!!! Some of the bugs have done some pretty
strange things to my project.

Thanks.

I must have over looked the little checkbox.
