[ATL] Ant task problem: "am3.loadModel" [message #90710] Mon, 29 September 2008 11:07 Go to next message
Eclipse UserFriend
Hello there,

I'm new to the ATL language, and after a brief tutorial provided by the
INRIA team, i tried to run the ATL transformation 'UML2OWL' downloaded
from the ATL zoo.

But, i get an error when i run the build.xml Ant file:
"[...]\workspace\UML2OWL\build.xml:33: Problem: failed to create task or
type am3.loadModel"

I built the am3 plugins (version 0.4.0) from the SVN repository (not the
deprecated ones), but nothing changed. I also configured all the things
for my Ant file to be launched in the same JRE as my workspace, and for my
workspace to be refreshed each time i launch the Ant file.

Then, i even built the deprecated plugin
'org.eclipse.gmt.am3.tools.ant_0.2.0.200809261429.jar' from the SVN
repository, without success.

I must have forgotten something, so thanks for any help to make it work !

Regards,

Adrien.

Sorry, i forgot to mention that i'm running under Eclipse Modeling Tools
v3.4.1 (Eclipse + EMF, GMF, MDT XSD/OCL/UML2, M2M, M2T, and EMFT
elements), up-to-date with ATL v2.0.1.

Hi,

What happens if you try to run with the "Run in the same JRE as workspace"
option on in the launch confguration?

Alfons

Hi,

Thanks for your reply !
I've already changed the "launch configuration" of my Ant file, to make it
run into the same JRE as my workspace, but i got the same error anyway.

Btw, i have the v2.0.1 of the org.eclipse.m2m.atl.* plugins. I'll try to
update these using CVS, and i'll keep you posted.

Regards,

Adrien

Even with the last version of ATL (v2.1.0), i can't use AM3 tasks in my
Ant file...
After days of hacking my Eclipse plugins, i think i will delete all my
stuff and make a clean install.
