Hi,

I'm working on customizing TPTP and would like to know if it is possible
to let the user open two instances of the same view (e.g. to compare say,
the Execution Statistics views of two separate profiling sessions).

No, this currently isn't possible in TPTP, but there is an enhancement
open for it: https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=152418

Feel free to add yourself to the CC list and vote for the enhancement to
increase its chances of getting implemented.
