i've got a bunch of java source files and am
trying to create a project.

i went to "create a new java project" wizard and
chose "create a java project from existing source"

when i enter a project name - i get the "cannot create
project content in workspace" message and the
Finish button is disabled.

thanks.

If you already have the project contents in your workspace directory
(that is why you get the message), the way to add that to your workbench
is to create the project as normal, using the same project name as the
directory that is already there. Eclipse will recognize the existing
project files and use the accordingly.
