On start up I get error: Failed to get adb version: Cannot run program "home'bill'android-sdk-linux/platform-tools/adb: no such directory...

that is the correct path to that program. I have gone to <windows>< preferences ><android> and rereset that path.

It is in my profile so I 'should' not have any rights issues. do I have to give Eclipse privileges?

I'm on a 64 bit system everything I install is 64bit. I'm on fedora 16.

Eclipse is working otherwise. I'm doing well programming Java (as well as I can program Smile

Eclipse isn't Android. You'll need to ask questions like this in an
Android development forum, e.g.: one of those at this link:
