Hi,

After discussion with Jamie, Matthias and Stefan I came with the following plan.

A new TransformationDecorator called FoodConsumer is created in the food production plugin. Some things have to be relabeld like Stefan and Jamie suggested. The base class in the plugin is renamed to FoodTransformer. FoodComsumer and FoodProducer are child classes of FoodTransformer. The same food transformer wizard is used for all classes.

FoodConsumer should allow the user specify how much food is consumed based on the food available and the size of the population consuming the food. Seperately it can be specified how the disease is transmitted by consumption. It might be challenging to implement this if a multi-population model is used for the consuming population as Jamie mentioned, but it should be doable. Transmission and consumption would have to be specified for each population group seperately.

Regards,
Chris

Sounds good. Regarding more than one population, maybe it's possible to create more than one food consumer (one for each population)? In the slaughter house implementation it should (in theory) be possible to create more than one type of food by adding multiple slaughter house instances.
