I have created a simple project and in that i added some source files.
But now i want to convert that project to a java project because i can't
use help for api and auto complete. It pop's up a message that says
"The resource is not in a build path of a java project"

Is there any way to change the project type to java without having to
delete it and recreate?

Thank you very much for you time

The simplest thing I think is to delete the project, but when Eclipse
asks tell it DO NOT delete the contents (files). Then re-create the
project with the same name, this time as a Java project. Eclipse will
prompt you for source folder, build output location, etc.
