custom widgets - google maps [message #88697] Tue, 20 May 2008 08:34 Go to next message

Hi

I've tried performing the steps from
http://help.eclipse.org/help33/topic/org.eclipse.rap.help/he lp/html/advanced/custom-widget.html

Unfortunately I don't see the widget. Then I set a breakpoint into
getAdapter and saw many calls there, but nobody has come to get the LCA
adapter.

Cheers

Hi,

it's difficult to tell what's going wrong without some more information.
Just a wild guess: did you exactly follow the naming conventions for
the LCA class and package name?

Cheers,
Rüdiger

Oh I see now. I thought that I have had a choice to implement the
getAdapter on my own or obey the package naming conventions as the
tutorial states. It appears that the package naming is crucial.

Thanks
