Hi,
I am using the eclipse plateform 2.1.0.
The project I am working on is using standard librairies such as rt.jar ...
When I press the F1 key to get the javadoc documentation the Microsoft
debugger is opened on a file located on the sun site (java.sun.com).
Therefore, I tried to change the javadoc location associated to file
rt.jar:
1) Right click on the rt.jar file
2) Selection of the properties entry in the opened menu
3) Selection of the Javadoc Location field in the opened window
4) Modification of the path to C:\...\jdk\docs\api.
After this modification, when I tried to get the associated documentation
using the F1 key, I get the associated page without any error.
The problem is that if I leave and start again eclipse, the javadoc
location modification has noot been saved (if I check the javadoc location
using the above manipulations, I find the sun site).
Do you have an idea why the javadoc location is not saved ?
Thanks a lot
Magali

Try setting it in Java Runtime Preferences (Window->Preferences, Java->JRE,
Edit). The entry needs to contain protocol like: "file:/D:/jdk/docs/api/"
