Hi,

I'm working on an old GUI that was originally made in Visual Age for Java.
I tried to use the current Visual Editor in Eclipse 3.01 to edit it, but
it is no longer recognized.

Now it is only partially recognized in WSAD 5.0, along with some
InstantiationException IWAV0125E, something is too compilcated to be
evaluated, etc.

I guess the code is too old. Is there any conversion tool in Eclipse or
WSAD I can use to convert this old GUI to new GUI that can be edited in
the current Visual Editor?

Thanks.

Can you post more details about the error such as the string was too
complicated to be evaluted (the message has more info) and also the
snippit of source that relates to the JavaBean with the error ?

For more details about migration look at the Help>Contents and expand
the section "Using the visual editor for Java" / "Testing and debuggging
in the Visual Editor" / "Code migration from VisualAge for Java to the
visual editor".

Best regards,
