Build Path Entry Warning [message #86758] Tue, 01 July 2003 18:14

I get the following warning on the Java Build Path page of the properties
for all of my Tomcat projects within Eclipse: <Warning symbol> Build path
entry is missing: TOMCAT_HOME.

Despite this, I don't seem to have any trouble accessing the Jars that
include TOMCAT_HOME in the path. I thought perhaps I needed a TOMCAT_HOME
system environment variable and created one but it didn't make any
difference, even when I closed Eclipse and re-opened it: the warning was
still there so I removed the environment variable again.

1. What should I do to make this warning go away?
2. What are the consequences if I leave the warning alone?

I am running Eclipse RC1 200302211557 on Windows XP with Tomcat 4.1.24 and
the Sysdeo 2.1 plugin.
