Hi

What was the motivation for such a rapid 2.2.1? presumably some major
problem.

The M4 MDT/OCL editors fail to start due to a missing org.eclipse.jface
dependency. Could this be the same problem?

Is a 2.2.2 imminent?

Regards

Ed Willink

Hi Ed,

the reason for 2.2.1 was a bug in Xtend.
https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=366005
I doubt that the jface dep has something to do with it.

We don't have concrete plans for 2.2.2. It will depend on the severity
of the issues that users may have with 2.2.1

Regards,
Sebastian

The release came surprising. I already migrated Spray to Xtext 2.2.0, and at the end of the migration the build was suddenly not working. It turned out that Xtext 2.2.0 had disappeared from http://download.eclipse.org/modeling/tmf/xtext/updates/composite/releases/. Was this also intended?
