I'm trying to transform a hierarchy of items from one model to another hierarchy with items of a different type. For the life of me I can't figure out how to set up the associations between the different levels.

i.e. type1.children does not map to type2.children because the children are objects of different types.

My initial attempt is to first create the lowest children (so they exist) and then have a rule that progressively creates the parents. I've managed to create the lowest children, but now I don't know how to add a referral to these children when I start the parents.

Would be grateful for any help, being new to ATL.
