Hallo everyone,

just downloaded Eclipse PDT 3.0.x All In Ones, and the
code completion doesn't work. For PHP OOP is code completion
very useful, and that has worked fine in Eclipse PDT 2.2 All in one.

Someone has an idee? do i need to install some packages?

For avoiding misunderstandings, my class and php file is definitively fine.
i have just switched back to pdt 2.2, and the code completion works.

i am wondering where is the visible value of pdt 3.0 whereas the code
completion doesn't work.

Though I'm not using pdt 3.0.2,
Try creating new Workspace if you were using same/old workspace.
Or, remove files under workspace/.metadata/.plugins/org.eclipse.dltk.core.index.sql.h2
since 3.0.2 has an incompatible version of h2 database.
See workspace/.metadata/.log file.

Thanks Toshihiro for the quick response.

1) I have removed all the files in my workspace unter directory .metadata/.plugins/org.eclipse.dltk.core.index.sql.h2/
2) and started eclipse PDT 3.02 , all the dltk index has been generated. no more erorr in .log file.
3) code completion works fine now

It has saved me a lot of time just to use the old workspace in this way instead of creating a new workspace.
