Hello,

I have installed eclipse 3.0.1, emf 2.0.1, gef 3.0.1 and omondo 1.1.0...

I have also installed the visual editor. I have imported the plugins of
the visual editor.

If I am trying to open it with "Class Diagramm Editor" I get the message
below. There are not created any diagramms. If I make a diagramm from my
classes, I do not get this error.

Does somebody know why I get this message?
What can I do to solve the problem ?

Thank you very much in advance
Elena

Hello,

a little correction: I got this error yestreday if I did "UML | Reverse
Engineering" and the beginning of the error was:

------------------------------------------------------------ ---------------
!ENTRY org.eclipse.core.runtime 4 2 Mrz 29, 2005 19:19:09.593
!MESSAGE Problems occurred when invoking code from plug-in:
"org.eclipse.core.runtime".
!STACK 0
java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: Attempted to beginRule:
com.omondo.uml.g.a.a@9cf542, does not match outer scope rule:
com.omondo.uml.g.a.a@9cf542
at org.eclipse.core.internal.runtime.Assert.isLegal(Assert.java :5
------------------------------------------------------------ -----------------

After I imported "org.eclipse.core.runtime" I did not get any error but I
also did not get diagramms created.

1. Does somebody know what are the reasons for not creation of diagramms ?

2. Are there any other tools for creating a class diagramms of VE that are
compatibel with VE ???

I have also seen "argoUML" and "Understand for Java". "Understand for
Java" creates a class diagramm only for one class.

Thanks :o)
Elena

VE and omondo have nothing to do with each other. VE works on the Java
code, not UML diagrams. So if you are having problems with the omondo,
you will need to go to them for support.
