make C-o open/show Outline view? [message #7673] |

Among my weirdnesses are:
* I'm keyboardy.
* I like to have Package Explorer, Outline, and Navigator stacked (to
the left of my editors) to preserve screen space for the editors.
This works well enough, since, if the Outline is not showing, I can
hit C-o -> Navigate>Show Outline to show it ... but in a separate
frame floating over the editor.
What I'd _really_ like is to have C-o show the Outline view, i.e.
bring it to the top of its stack if it's buried. So I'd like to know:
* Am I mentioning this in the wrong group? If so, please lemme know
which is more appropriate.
* Can this be done? If so, what command is this? If not, I'll make the
feature request.

Probably not exactly what you were looking for, but you can bring up
your list of views with <ctrl> F7 and navigate that way.

Correct on both counts. I use C-F7, but I have a lotta views open.
Given that Outline is "special," I'd prefer to have a way to go
straight to that view, similar to the way that Navigate>Show in
Package Explorer (which I have bound to C-S-s) gets me to Package
Explorer.
