Can't build RAP from CVS head [message #85047]

Hi

I've tried building RAP from CVS head because we want to see if widget
pooling being disabled helps and I see M4 so far has removed widget
pooling.

But I can't build it. I edited org.eclipse.rap.feature/build.xml to
remove the non-RAP dependancies such as org.apache.commons.logging,
javax.servlet, etc.
However the build complains that org.eclipse.rap.rwt/build.xml is missing
(it is). Also missing is org.eclipse.rap.ui.workbench/build.xml.

Are these missing from CVS?

Hi Paul,

how did you tried to build RAP? If you're refering to a headless build,
these build.xml files do not exist as we use the PDE build
infrastructure (see org.eclipse.rap.releng project). If you just want to
test your application, checking out RAP with the provided Team project
set from the website into your workspace should be enough.
