Hello,

With respect to the retirement of CVS in Eclipse (see bug #358980 [1])
GMF Tooling had been migrated to git (see bug #362885 [2]).
The clone url is now:

git://git.eclipse.org/gitroot/gmf-tooling/org.eclipse.gmf-tooling.git <http://git.eclipse.org/gitroot/gmf-tooling/org.eclipse.gmf-tooling.git>

Today snapshot of the CVS repository will remain available in future,
but all of the new development should come to the git.

Hi community,

as part as the move to Git, GMF Tooling is now also mirrored at GitHub:
https://github.com/eclipse/gmf-tooling/network

You can leverage tools provided by GitHub to improve your experience in
contributing to GMF Tooling.

Hi Mickael,

I appreciated the efforts, as a GitHub user, I find it necessary to have a README file in the top level of the source code folder, so that developers can easily see what is inside the repository and how to contribute.

It's just a suggestion.

Thanks,

Hoang

Sure,

I have no exact idea of what people would like to see in a README for
GMF-Tooling. You seem much more aware of it, and you are the kind of
people this README would be aimed to.
Probably you could fork the repo and add a README? Then open a bug to
track the progress and request the README to be included in GMF Tooling
repo.

FYI, Eclipse does not allow us to leverage pull requests and merge
branch directly from contributors, you'll need to deliver your
contribution as a git patch on the bug tracker.
