Open Proj.by passing .project file to Eclipse possible? [message #755051] Mon, 07 November 2011 08:37

Assume I have got some project files from someone else.

Normally I start at first Eclipse and import then the project into it.
That works.

But is there another way WITHOUT having to start Eclipse at first?
I want e.g. to double click on the .project file and pass it this way to Eclipse
Which in turn starts now and imports automatically the passed project.

Is this possible?

As far as I can see

D:\eclipse\eclipse.exe D:\proc\test123\.project

does not work.
