[ATL] how to load standard elements of the target metamodel [message #7557] Thu, 11 January 2007 10:50
Eclipse UserFriend
Hello,

I'm working on a transformation from UML2 with 3ADL profile to AADL.
The transformation produce an aaxl file from an uml2 file.
(AAXL is the XMI representation of AADL)

The point is that AADL has a kind of standard property set.
It defines Size_Units (Bits, B, KB, MB, GB), Time_Units, etc...
This "standard library" is composed of 2 files:
- AADL_Project.aaxl
- AADL_Properties.aaxl

I would like to load those files so I can use later their definitions in
the transformation.
I don't want to pollute my target model with standard elements definitions.

Is it possible to do such a thing with ATL ?
(or in Java since ATL can contain peaces of Java code)

Thanks in advance,
Delphin
