Hello to all,
I have recently download and installed VE but things do not seem to be
working correctly so apparently I am doing something wrong. But let me start
from the beginning:
- The automatic installation using the Update Manager did not work for me
due to timeouts during download. So I followed the alternative way and
downloaded everything from the site. After unzipping I have put it under
Eclipse3_0_1\plugins. I guess these steps were successfull because when I
follow the FAQ instructions and go to go to Help->About Eclipse
Platform->Feature Details I can see entries for all the necessary
components.
- However the VE does not "appear" anywere inside the IDE. For example I can
not find anywhere the Design view or the Source view or any of the palletes
with components as described in the Help pages for VE (which by the way are
accessible and dispaying OK).
It seems that I am doing something wrong but what???
Any help will be greatly appeciated!
Thanks in advance.

Anyway that now seems to work and I can start learning!
Thank you very much David and all the others that replied!
