CDT and embedded device development [message #749857] Tue, 25 October 2011 09:34
Eclipse UserFriend
Hello all,

I'm using Eclipse from some time now as an IDE for Python and Perl, but I never try to customize it.
I would like now to use this framework for developping on some of our internal micro-controller.

I've found (www.eclipse.org/home/categories/embedded_device.php) that there are (or were) some plug-in for doing that job. But it seems to be dead from around a year or two.

It also seems that some product as AVRStudio (wiki.eclipse.org/DSDP/Products_using_DSDP) is derivated from this work.

I would like to know where I can find those plug-ins (source code)(DD - and especially IP-XACT - and TM), with some documentation to customize them and if they are still alive in one of the active projects.

Is there also some projects intended to have let Eclipse be a development and debug environement like Keil for the 8051, ARM cores, ... ?

Thank you,

Cyril
