All,
There have been several people lately expressing frustration with the
challenge of extending VE. If enough people would like a jump-start
session on extending VE (we've taken to calling them "code jamming
sessions"), we'd be happy to do that (via web conference).
If you're interested, please reply with your name, what you're
interested in doing with VE, and what your timezone is relative to UTC.
For example, I'm Dave Orme, I'd like to replace the Java editor with the
XSWT editor, and I'm in Central Standard Time, which is UTC-6.
If there's enough interest and enough overlap in the topics, we'll set
this up.
Best regards,
Dave Orme

I guess I should have been explicit; please reply here on the newsgroup
if this is of interest to you. :-)
Best regards,
Dave Orme

Hello,
I am Elena Demeter. I would like to extend the VE for the framework in my
company. This framework use "overrided Swing classes". I am in GMT + 1.
Thanks for the invitation :-)

Hello,
I was told that you are collecting requests for tutorial about extending VE
and that I should put my scenario here.
I would like to have a tutorial on extending VE with raw edit parts (draw2D
figures). I would need this becouse a framework, we use, works with
interfaces that are interpreed as swing or html components when application
is started.
Thank you,
Danijel
P.S. If you are alredy working on tutorials and if you have any finished
ones, please release them (at least one).
