Hi guys,
I'd like to debug my simple java application but I'm not able to select local tomcat server.
I'm using Ubuntu 10.10, Eclipse Indigo and Tomcat6 and Sun JDK 1.6 .
Can you help me?
Tia,
nesar .

Typically, the nomenclature for an application involving Tomcat would be
a web application, usually developed using Eclipse's Dynamic Web Project
questions about which are better asked in the Eclipse web tools platform
forum.
When speaking of a "simple Java application", one thinks of a mere
Eclipse Java Project. This is the forum for that.
Again, though, if your question does involve using Tomcat, you're better
off in the other forum.
Not certain how advanced you are with Eclipse, but on the basis of your
question, I would suggest that you might not have adequately installed
either Eclipse or Tomcat or wired the latter to the former. For more on
this, I can offer the following link, particularly article #3:
