If it is supported in Eclipse 3.1 what are the limitations, or is just TPTP
that is supported and not the Automated GUI Recorder? I have been having
difficulties in getting the setup to work in Eclipse 3.1

You will need to used TPTP 4.1.0 to gain support for Eclipse 3.1:
http://www.eclipse.org/tptp/home/downloads/drops/TPTP-4.1.0. html
The limitataions are listed in the user guide document created for 4.1:
http://www.eclipse.org/tptp/test/documents/userguides/Intro- Auto-GUI.html
