Good day,
I was going through the "Bottom Up Web Service Tutorial" and I always seem
to get this error message when trying to deploy the service to Tomcat:
IWAB0489E Error when deploying Web service to Axis runtime
java.lang.NullPointerException
I'm running Tomcat 4.1.31 (got same error on 5.0), Axis 1.1, Eclipse 3.1M5
and JDK 1.5.0_01.
In fact, the service gets deployed and if I create a client by using the
"Web Service Client Tutorial" I can access the webservice without a
problem.
Any ideas on what could be the problem would be highly appreciated.
Regards,
andrej.
