Currently, MySQL is not supported, but look for this post: "Does Server
Explorer support MySQL?" where it is explained how to manually add that
support.

Chemi.

Chemi,

What is the best way to search for that thread?
I try the Web interface of this newsgroup, but it does not have a search
capability.

Thanks for any tip.

Sam

Hi guys,

SInce I was actually searching for the same post myself, and since there's
no search facility in the Web interface, I'm reproducing this post for you
below:

_________________

In order to support MySQL, a data definition needs to be created as
explained in the RDB whitepaper at

http://www.eclipse.org/webtools/wst/components/rdb/Data%20To ols%20Open%20Source%20Overview%20for%20Eclipse%20database%20 Developer.html#_Creating_a_new_database
vendor

Once the database definition is in place, it will appear in the database
managers pane of the connection wizard. You should then be able to
connect using the Other driver option.

Hope this helps (though the process does look somewhat complicated !!! :)
