After (I think) 11 attempts i decide to make these questions because i'm
on "cul de sac ".
Problem: i'm not able to launch VE
These was my steps:
- I installed from scratch a windows XP PRO sp.2 on a pentium 4 2.8
ghz, 256 mb,(I tried also on different pc with different ram and
processor) with all update, and any things else (no antivirus, no
firewall, no tuning utility, nothings).
- I installed j2re-1_4_2_07-windows-i586-p
- I installed eclipse-SDK-3.0.1-win32.zip
- With "software update" from eclipse.org i installed "EMF SDK 2.0.1" and
"example for Eclipse . . ."
- When eclipse asked me to restar, I said "No", then I exited and I
restarted eclipse from command promtm with "eclipse -clean"
- With "software update" from eclipse.org i installed "GEF SDK 3.0.1",
"GEF Logical . ." , Graphical Editing. . .".
- When eclipse asked me to restar, I said "No", then I exited and I
restarted eclipse from command promtm with "eclipse -clean"
- With "software update" from eclipse.org i installed "Visual Edito SDK
1.0.1"
- When eclipse asked me to restar, I said "No", then I exited and I
restarted eclipse from command promtm with "eclipse -clean"
- now i create a new project, when i try to create a new class i'm not
able to create a visual class.
i'm looking for a log file in "C:\eclipse\workspace\.metadata" but i'm
not able to find it.
could someone help me, what i did wrong ? if there are other step could
someone explain me ?
