Hi, after searching through lots of topics on the forum i still cant resolve the current problems i am experiencing with Eclipse.
I installed the JDK 1.7 (64bit), unzipped Eclipse (3.7 for 64bit) and everything worked ok, managed to get a hello world application up and running.
Now i get an error when starting eclipse, "Failed to load the JNI shared library".
I have tried all suggestions, i have edited the INI file to point to the jvm.dll(Even though i didnt have to do this the first time it ran), still recieve the error, i have changed it to point to the javaw.exe, i get the exitcode13 error doing that.
I have also tried the M1 build with support for java 1.7, get exactly the same error. Both the JDK and Eclipse are 64bit versions.
Its so frustrating because it worked, and now it doesn't!
The only thing i can think of that has changed is that i had to install BlueJ for my uni course!
I can compile and run programs from the command prompt so my JDK is still ok.
"C:\Users\Duncan>java -version
java version "1.7.0"
Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment (build 1.7.0-b147)
Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM (build 21.0-b17, mixed mode, sharing)"
OS: Win7 Home Premium 64bit
Any help is appreciated.
