Does Graphiti support fill patterns? [message #726510] Sun, 18 September 2011 08:16 Go to next message

Dear all,

is it possible to use fill shapes with patterns/brushes, e.g. diagonal lines, grid, bitmap etc. ? (like those in Qt http://doc.qt.nokia.com/latest/qbrush.html)

Regards,

Andreas

Andreas,

fill patterns are currently not supported, we offer gradient fillings (they
could maybe also be used to draw a horizontal line pattern) and images can
of course be set as e.g. a child graphics algorithm; in case you use SVG you
also get around the scaling issues involved with bitmaps.

If you like to see additional fill variants feel free to open an enhancement
bugzilla for that.
