When I check for updates, I get the following error message(s) at the bottom of the "Available Updates" screen:

Cannot complete the install because of a conflicting dependency.
  Software being installed: Eclipse SDK 3.6.2.M20110210-1200 (org.eclipse.sdk.ide 3.6.2.M20110210-1200)

I read somewhere that this might be a file permissions issue and to try running eclipse as root and then perform the upgrade. I attempted this and I was prompted to complete the 3.6.2 SDK upgrade. It completed successfully but the problem then was that all of the add-on components were missing and I don't want to have to reinstall and reconfigure them all.
