Error when launching Eclipse for the first time [message #721767]

I'm trying to install the Stanford version of Eclipse found here:

see.stanford.edu/see/materials/icspmcs106a/software.aspx

I've tried both mac and PC versions running Lion and Windows 7 respectively. Both have Java version 6.0.240. Below is the resulting log file when I try to run it on window 7, I don't have the Mac log handy at the moment but I think it's similar. Please help!

I looks like that "distribution" of Eclipse is broken, or that it was
extracted incorrectly. On the Eclipse downloads page are some links
about installing/troublshooting; try reading those.
In general I'd say you should either download Eclipse for yourself from
www.eclipse.org or contact Stanford faculty to let them know their stuff
isn't working.
