John,
I don't know if we make those anymore...

bugzillas the only information I can find on the new driver is in the
EclipseCon presentation.
While the old driver has a web presence in the dtp incubator, I can't
find any web site that mentions the new driver.
Shouldn't there be some web presence for the new driver? Perhaps
someplace under http://www.eclipse.org/modeling/emf/?
With at least one or two sentences informing the end user about what it
does and a place for downloading the builds, releases as a zip just like
the other EMF components?
IMHO the new EMF Driver adds a significant functionality to EMF models -
and deserves at least an honorary mention someplace;-)
WDYT?

Yes, it's far from ideal.

There's not much for Google to index...

They're not kept up-to-date anymore than there's good new information
for what Kenn did.

Indeed.

I know. It's practically invisible.

Yes.

That would be good. We're not even doing a good job pointing people at
the update sites though...

I totally agree.

I think we're doing an exceedingly poor job of keeping the website
up-to-date.

John,
A wiki page would be a good starting point for the community to
contribute documentation and to give Google something to index...
I'm hoping to get some help with the website in the fall. It's not just
EMF that's bad, but the general modeling site and much (though not all)
of what's lurking under it...
