I have been trying to checkout the demo project (org.eclipse.rap.demo). In particular I'm interesting in the databinding part.

I checked out a number of plugin projects but I am left with unresolved dependencies on some apache commons items. Do I need to extend my target definition to include apace.commons...?

What is the 'clever' way to check out the demo project?

Hi Paul,
the org.eclipse.rap.demo is included in the target platform (RAP
runtime). Just import it as a source project and run it with the
including launch configurations.

Ivan

Hi Ivan

thanks for the speedy reply!

What must I do exactly?

-- Import->plug-in development->Plug-ins & Fragments
-- Next
-- Directory={location of target plug-ins}
-- Projects with source folders
-- Next
-- Add All->
-- Finish

Right? (Probably not, because it is missing classes)

Thanks
Paul

Hi Paul,
open the "Plug-ins" view. Find "org.eclipse.rap.demo" plug-in, right
click on it and select "Import as" -> "Source project".
That's all.
