Table headers/footers on each page [message #716560] Wed, 17 August 2011 13:11 Go to next message

Is there any way we can show table header / footer on each page. I searched the forums, and saw that we can achieve this by row count grouping. But for me the issue is, I do not know how many rows each page can take... b'cos the row data size can vary (dynamic text control). Is there any other way we can achieve this. just want to know if there is any update after the last post on this. We are using BIRT 2.6.2

Thanks

Sam,

You should be able to use repeat header checkbox on the table page break
properties. For the footer you will most likely have to use the master
page footer and page variables.

I know it (repeating table footer in each page - like the header checkbox without any coding) is not possible in 2.6.2. Is it possible in 3.7?

Thanks

That is currently implemented in 3.7.

For table header there is a property "Repeat Header". But I dont see an equivalent property for footer.
I tried using "Repeatable" property on the footer row, but no luck. (Working in 3.7)

Thanks

Change the SQL statement to and get the row_number() and group on that.
